The Metamorphosis is the premier private school for preschoolers and grade schoolers in Oriental Mindoro, Philippines. It offers classes in all preschool and grade school levels (nursery, kindergarten, preparatory, and Grades 1 to 6).
a history of innovation
The Metamorphosis Child Development and Care Center was founded in 1998 as a preschool offering nursery, kinder, and preparatory classes. Its first campus was located at Santo Niño, Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro. In 2001, it moved to a new campus at Santa Rita, Pinamalayan. In 2010, the Metamorphosis established a new branch at Bansud, Oriental Mindoro.
The school’s name, “Metamorphosis,” was conceived with the idea and the vision of forming a child into his or her full personhood. “Metamorphosis” signifies the process of growth and development, such as in the life stages of a butterfly.
For the school, however, “metamorphosis” signifies the transformation of a person from childhood to adulthood—the transformation of curious little youngsters into fully grown adults who can spread their wings with pride and soar to the skies with the most brilliant of colors.

The Cocoon is the Online Distance Learning (ODL) System of the Metamorphosis. This online education system is the school’s answer to the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 health crisis to the education of our learners.
